The extinction of animals causes low performance in the ecological system in nature. About 10,000 animals go extinct each year. The causes of animals getting extinction are habitat loss, climate change, disease, and hunting. Habitat loss comes when all the animals in the forests start to lose their homes they won’t have any shelter this is also a cause of how animals are getting extinct. Climate change is very unpredictable for animals. Billions and Billions of animals are getting killed by poachers this is a major cause of the extinction of animals. Many types of human diseases also affect animal’s lives. Wild animals are also killed for their tusks, horns, and medicines. There are also animals that their lives are endangered like – Polar bear’s lives are endangered because of global warming. Turtle’s lives are endangered because of their eggs, shells and they get choked because of plastic. The red squirrel is endangered in Britain because red squirrels like to live in woodlands and trees are getting chopped down and there is no means of shelter for them. Mountain Gorillas live are endangered because they live in thick forests on mountains farmers are taking away their forests for farming, mountain gorillas are affected because of new diseases. We citizens have to take full responsibility we can make awareness to stop being a threat to these innocent lives by protecting them, make laws that killing animals is illegal, create forests for only animals.
